This Program is designed for tourists interested in Russian history. The route will take you to the cities of "The Golden Ring" old capitals of small kingdoms, later united to Russia — the most distinguished monuments of history, architecture and art of medieval Russia and the oldest cities of Russian north — west — Novgorod — the cradle of Russian democracy and Pskov the Northern — West outpost of Russ. You will also see fabulous cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. This route gives you a real chance to understand Russia's fascinating historical development.

Program (15 days/14 nights):

Arrive in Moscow. Accommodation (3 overnights). Sightseeing tour. Excursions: The Kremlin wtih Armoury, Historical Centre, Novodevichiy Monastery, Kolomenskoye or Kuskovo.

Bus trip: Vladimir — Suzdal. Accommodation in Vladimir (2 overnights). Excursions: Cathedral of the Assumption, The Golden Gates, village of Bogolyubovo, church of the Intercession on the river Nerl. You will take unforgettable trip to the ancient town of Suzdal with its great Cathedral, the Eufemy the Saviour Monastery, the Cathedral of the Deposition of the Virgin's Robe and open — air museum of wooden architecture. Bus trip to Ivanovo — "Russian Manchester". Excursion to the museum of print cotton manufacturing.

Bus trip: Kostroma — Yaroslavl. Accommodation in Kostroma (2 overnights). Sightseeing tour. Excursions: Ipatievskiy monastery — the cradle of Romanovs dynasty, museum of wooden architecture. Bus trip to Yaroslavl. Accommodation in Hotel (2 overnights). Sightseeing tour. Excursions: Church of Ilya the Prophet, Spaso — Preobrazhensky Monastery.

Bus trip to Rostov. Excursion to Rostov Kremlin. Bus trip to Sergiev Posad. Excursions: Trinity — and — St. Sergius Lavra — the spiritual centre of the Russian orthodox church. Depart by overnight train to Novgorod.

Arrival in Novgorod. Accommodation (1 overnight). Sightseeing tour. Excursions: Juriev Monastery, museum of wooden architecture, the Novgorod Kremlin.

Bus trip to Pskov. Accommodation (1 overnight). Sightseeing tour. Excursions give you a unique chance to see the pure art of fortification engineers and architects of the town: the Kremlin, fort Dovmontov, towers and citadels, churches and monasteries, fortresses in Izborsk and Truvorovo, nature phenomenon "The Slavic springs", Pechora monastery, the fortress and the burial caves.

Bus trip to St. Petersburg. Accommodation (3 overnights). Sightseeing tour. Excursions: The Hermitage, Peter — and — Paul Fortress, St. Isaac Cathedral, Petergoff summer Palace or town of Pavlovsk.
